The People’s Law
“The People’s Law” is a documentary film that рассказывает о процессе формирования, содержании и историческом значении новой Конституции Республики Казахстан, adopted following the national referendum on March 15, 2026. The film comprehensively covers all stages of the constitutional reform initiated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev — from the idea of a “unicameral Parliament” to the nationwide referendum. The film features insights from State Advisor Yerlan Karin, Chair of the Constitutional Court Elvira Azimova, Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva, Minister of Justice Yerlan Sarsembayev, President of the International Public Foundation “Adil Soz” Karlygash Zhamankulova, and Chair of the Central Referendum Commission Nurlan Abdirov.
