The documentary film “UN-80. OUR CHOICE – PEACE, NOT WAR” tells why the choice of peace remains the most important one for all humanity. The film is dedicated to the visit of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to New York. His speech at the anniversary session of the UN General Assembly was delivered as a call for the renewal of international institutions, the strengthening of trust, and the search for new forms of dialogue. From behind-the-scenes meetings with world leaders to bold statements on UN Security Council reform, from nuclear disarmament issues to initiatives in the field of artificial intelligence – the film presents Kazakhstan’s principled vision of the UN’s future and the role of our country in reforming the Organization.
