Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov instructed the Ministry of Agriculture and regional akims to maintain strict oversight over the timely execution of spring fieldwork. The government allocated one trillion tenge for the spring planting and harvesting operations. The Prime Minister noted that 300 billion tenge from this amount will be directed toward leasing agricultural machinery. In addition, 402 thousand tons of subsidized fuel are provided for farmers.
