In Astana, a solemn ceremony dedicated to the 156th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, leader of the Indian national liberation movement, was held at the monument on the embankment of the Rowing Canal. The participants honored Gandhi’s memory and laid flowers at the foot of the monument.
