An active scholarly debate is underway as part of the preparation of a new seven-volume edition on the history of Kazakhstan. This was announced by Berik Abdigaliuly, Director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to him, while working on the third volume devoted to the history of the Golden Horde, a shortage of domestic experts became evident.
