Sibugatulla Ryskalievich Karynbayev (1910–1990) was a Soviet anatomist, Candidate of Medical Sciences (1947), Professor (1971), and Honored Doctor of the Kazakh SSR. He was born on March 1, 1910, in Guryev. He served as Minister of Health of the Kazakh SSR (1949–1950, 1954–1965) and as Rector of the Alma-Ata Medical Institute (1952–1954, 1963–1975).
