Kazakhstan’s Barys played their next Kontinental Hockey League match on February 14 in the capital against Russia’s Lada (Tolyatti). The visiting team opened the scoring early, with Andrey Chivilev finding the net in the 1st minute. The hosts responded confidently as Ian McCoshen (5th minute), Kirill Panyukov (12th), and Semyon Simonov (14th) scored three consecutive goals. As a result, the Astana-based club secured a 5–3 victory.
