Kazakhstan’s Minister of Energy, Erlan Akkenzhenov, spoke about the current stage of negotiations regarding the sale of Lukoil’s assets. According to the minister, the talks are proceeding in line with established procedures. Over the years of operating in Kazakhstan, Lukoil has invested more than USD 12 billion in the country’s oil and gas sector, producing 94 million tonnes of oil and 60 billion cubic meters of gas.
