10 march 2026
Housing prices in Kazakhstan are not expected to decrease in the coming years due to high demand. This was stated by the Chairperson of the Management Board of Otbasy Bank, Lyazzat Ibragimova, during a briefing at the Government. According to her, Kazakhstan experienced a significant increase in the birth rate in the early 2000s. If 222 thousand children were born in 2000, by 2007 the number had risen to 321.9 thousand. Over seven years, the annual increase amounted to about 15 thousand children.
