Aymykhan Turymbetovna Shamuratova (1917–1993) was an outstanding Karakalpak actress and singer, the first and only Karakalpak woman to be awarded the title of People's Artist of the USSR. Her artistic journey, spanning over half a century, left a profound mark on the history of theatrical art in Central Asia.
