76-Year-Old Traveler from Ulytau Sets Off to Conquer Europe on Foot

Seventy-six-year-old Sarsenbay Kotyrashev, widely known as Ulytaumen, is embarking on a new chapter of his remarkable journey. Over the next two months, he plans to walk through Serbia, Hungary, Austria, Germany, and France, finishing his route in Paris on April 26. The Ulytau marathon walker has already crossed Kazakhstan and reached Istanbul and Beijing. Now, he aims to traverse Europe in just 58 days. With an ambitious global goal of covering more than 40,000 kilometers, the 76-year-old adventurer hopes to make history as the world’s oldest long-distance pedestrian traveler.
