At Astana International Airport, the winners and participants of the international UAE SWAT Challenge were given a ceremonial welcome after returning from Dubai. The champions were greeted by journalists, colleagues, and their family members. Five joint teams from Kazakhstan’s special forces units — the State Guard Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan — represented the country at the international tournament of elite units, also known as the “Special Forces Olympics.”
