Travel on the LRT in Astana can be paid for in six different ways, including bank cards, transport cards, smartphones, and facial biometric recognition. In the future, passengers will also be able to pay using a bus card. This was announced by Asylbek Duissebayev, Chairman of the Board of City Transportation Systems, during a press tour.
