Heroism Never Fades: A Photo Report from the Military-Patriotic Center
Located in the heart of the capital, the National Military-Patriotic Center of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a unique place that preserves the memory of the harsh war years. Every photograph and every letter here is a genuine relic left behind from the bloody battlefields of the past. The Military History Museum was established on December 1, 2015, at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of the National Military-Patriotic Center of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Today, the museum’s collection includes more than 24,000 artifacts. According to museum director Daulet Kadyrov, the work on digitizing the records of soldiers who participated in the war between 1938 and 1945 is nearing completion.
