20 march 2026

A personal exhibition by artist Vladimir Bystritsky from Kokshetau has opened in Astana. The central focus of the exhibition is the image of horses, through which the artist seeks to convey their character and emotions. More than 30 oil paintings are presented in the capital’s gallery, featuring portraits of horses and dogs, as well as landscapes of the Kazakh steppe where these graceful animals remain the main figures. One of the paintings also depicts a scene from the traditional game kokpar.
