The III Plenary Session of the Central Council of the Republican Public Association "Veterans Organization" took place in Astana.
The event was attended by the Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balaeva, members of the Majilis of the Parliament, Chairman of the Central Council of the "Veterans Organization" Baktykozha Izmukhambetov, as well as state and public figures.
The plenary session discussed two main issues:
1. The organization’s tasks based on instructions given during the IV session of the National Kurultai, chaired by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on March 14 in Burabay.
2. The progress of the action plan of the Republican Public Association "Veterans Organization" in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Second World War.
